One of the best seafood noodle places in town, & it's VERY hot spicy! I thought I can eat spicy foods, then tried the hot pepper spicy seafood noodle with my Korean friend....Barely walked out the restaurant straight! SPICY but it's really good!

I've heard great things about this authentic Korean Chinese restaurant, and it was up to its hype. Prices ares really good for the portions you get. I also can be picky about my jajangmyeon, but it tasted really good with little meat bits and soft noodles. I also loved the tangsuyuk, which was perfectly crispy and sweet with the sauce. What a satisfying meal. Staff were friendly and quick, and I loved the decor of this restaurant.

I think this food was better than the regular Korean Chinese place I go to in md. The jjajangmyun is one of the best I've ever had and the tangsuyuk and kkamppungi were so good and crispy I have no complaints! One thing I don't like is when the servers watch you like they are your mother like she was walking up and down the tables and eyeing us down like a hawk. I mean I can't complain bc that is what you get with Korean servers especially as a Korean but I just don't love that kind of service. The seating was nice though the tables were well placed and the windows around the restaurant were cute. I'd go back maybe idk it was good

I love the atmosphere of this place! Very chill but can get busy quick. The service was very friendly and not rushed at all. They came to check on us several times. The food is delicious! Everything we ordered was tasty. I especially enjoyed the spicy stir fried squid. The only downside is the lack of banchan but the ones that were included were good. I'll be coming back for sure!

Updated review for Jangwon - The dumplings are a great appetizer! These are great if you don't want the extra large dishes (that are also pricy). The jjajangmyun is still great and so are the half and half options. I think this is the most solid Korean-Chinese place in the Annandale area.

Came here last week with a few friends! Love going to this casual homey feeling place. The service is super quick and the food here is so affordable at a huge portion. the spicy dumplings ($12) 4/5: great flavor, wish it was actually spicy. Nothing kimchi couldn't fix! Jajangmyeon ($10): 5/5 this is my fav spot to get it in town, everything from the noodles and sauce! Sweet and sour pork: (part of the $14 combo): 4/5 wish it was a little more cooked but flavor was there. They were so nice and let us stay longer to unbox our little toys. We loved it here and would def rec!

Absolute comfort food and I'm not even Korean, the food is just THAT delicious. The food from Jang Won Ban is just so good and somehow seems like food your Asian mom/grandma/auntie made. There are a bunch of dishes and the portions are huuuge. The place definitely gets busy but we have never had to wait for a table or too long for service. The service is direct and fast and then kind of leaves you alone for the rest of your meal, which we totally don't mind! The restaurant is super casual and seems typical of more traditional Asian food places. There are no frills to the service or the restaurant, it is just good food, and that is what we are there for!

My friends and I dined in this time. The quality was great. Portions are big! see pic of shrimp- the sauce was great but it makes it soggy after a while. portion was smaller than i expected for the shrimp too. Inside is very casual ambiance. There was also a party happening in the back corner. I appreciated the server letting us know, so she told us to get our order in as soon as we can before they started haha. Overall great food, I somehow enjoyed the experience of eating it as takeout better.
